Reminders:
- Do not take photos of art or other photographs
- When you borrow an item or use something from the art room put it back
- use your time wisely, leave enough time for uploading and editing
- All images must be in focus unless a blur is intended
- Sitch up vertical and horizontal orientations when shooting.
1. Review of Compositional Elements :Composition
Focal Point: The subject or object you want the viewer to focus on, Every good photo should have a focal point. The focal point will lood better and stand out when you have a decluttered or clean background.
Rule of thirds:
First Assignment: Scavenger Hunt: 20 marks
- shoot through somethingor framing the shot
- use of a mirror
- headshot on a clean background
- fill the frame
- a water shot
- a reflection shot
- something red
- a piece of fruit
- a close -up/macro shot
- duck/flamingo/or isfeld bear shot
- photo of a person taking a photo
- a shadow shot
- grafitti shot
- low angle shot
- food or drink shot
- BONUS: your choice CREATIVE Shot
- Challenge: the concept of freedom
Keep in mind all of the elements of composition, especially focal point. This is not a simply go out and get the shot then check it off your list. I want you to think about how you can make these shots different from each other and artistic.Try to look at this assignment from a creative point of view. You are the photographer, you compose the shots - Assessment will be based on: =clarity of shots, composition,cropping for focal point, and creativity of the shots
