Examples of a theme could be concepts like love, isolation, my generation, stillness or joy. Or a theme could be more concrete like: black and white, bubbles, music, shadows, cars, coca cola, portraits, boats or the seashore. All shots should be in an album on Flickr.

It could be a spoken word poem with visuals, a music video, a how to video, a cooking demo, a video of your dog, or a compilation of a day in isolation. At Magenta, we hope you are finding ways to stay creative and engaged. As many of us are spending a lot of time on social media, we thought it might be nice to open up our Instagram Account and find a way to communicate through photos. We are extending our Instagram account to all of you! Every couple of weeks, we will come up with a theme, and we will post the work you send us in response. At the end of this pandemic, the photos we collect will be added to our website as a Virtual Gallery.
Starting today, April 14th, please send us one or two photographs that relate to the theme:
"What does your social isolation look like?"
It can mean your work from home desk, what your room looks like, you in your backyard, and so many other things. The last day to submit for this week's theme is
Sunday, April 19th at midnight.
Please make sure your name and your school is listed. A brief description that we can include that explains what your image is all about, and any social media handles we can include would be great.
