THINGS TO BE WORKING ON...
- You should also have a model/begin shooting your Portrait shoot.(20 photos)
- Let me know if you are doing a theme shoot ( and what your theme is) or a black a and white shoot.
- Continue shooting/editing for your Beauty in a Minute video. ( you need 60 one second shots)
- Choose your 2 best photos of the term, size to 8x10, print out in colour, also save by your name on mdrive main folder
- We will have a few short lessons on the above assignments this week.
1. Photo Re-creation: You are to find an old photo of yourself betwen the ages of 3-7 years of age. You are then going to take a photo of the photo on your phone. Next you are to recreate the photo to the best of your ability. I am looking for a solid redition. You may have to get someone to help with taking the photo if you are in the photo. Marks 10.
2. Magazine Cover: Marks 20
The magazine cover requires you to take a vertical photo that is at a very high quality, and using photoshop you are to create the cover of a magazine. I should be able to look at the cover of your magazine and think it is a real magazine.
Please save on the M drive /under chase 2023 11/12/magazine cover as a jpeg. under your name. Also save a copy in your own files on the mdrive.
Please save as a jpg and a Photoshop file psd in case you need to make any changes.
CRITERIA for this Assignment
- bar code
- coordinating colours
- clear, high resolution verticle photo taken by YOU
- 3 sets of text with page numbers drawing the reader in
- Header matches the actual magazine text or is very close
- text size is appropriate for the magazine
- looks visually pleasing and is sized properly
- looks like a real magazine cover
- you need to use Photoshop not an app for this assignment ( I will be looking at your Photoshop file as well as the final jpeg
Both of these assignments are due Friday.
